SYMPOSIUM ATTENDANTS
Hello everyone,
I am writing everyone we met and spoke with at the symposium in Reno as well as a select list of others who I believe would like to see what SDU has been up to. We are just a few weeks away from launching our on-line training package: Human Flight: Basic. This product is our base line and foundation to all of our programs from basic training to training trainers. To download or view our e-Brochure please sign on to our site: www.skydiveu.com and look for the e-Brochure icon in the column to the left side of the home page.
The e-Brochure covers our entire program and product line in detail with links taking you into our website options. You can move quickly to a subject in the brochure by simply clicking on one of the icons surrounding the world. The one icon I'm sure most drop zones and federations may be interested in is the Resources Icon which will take you to drop zone tools. SKYDIVE UNIVERSITY COACH DATABASE: UPDATE YOUR PROFILE NOW!
Greetings all coaches,
Well after one false start earlier this year I am happy to finally announce that the SDU website promised is now up and operational. Due to unfulfilled promises earlier this year the site we thought was about to be launched never was and we had to redo the complete site. You will hopefully notice this in it’s the new presentation.
The most useful items on the site at this time are: the schedule, the coach database, and the online store. The site is fully secure and accepts purchases and registrations through both credit cards and PayPal. The coach database has current postings of newly revised manuals and Session guides for Level 1 as well as Level 1 Course Directors.
All Skydive University Coaches can go to our site, www.skydiveu.com, go to the upper right corner and log in with your e-mail address and the temporary password 1234. Please update your file and change your password. You will probably notice that your address is q from, city q, state q, and postal code 12345. This was done to save time and get the database done as most of it was manual entry. We also did this as it was difficult to read some of the hand writing. Please take the time to update your file. You will also see the option to add a PDF resume to your file and a picture. Please be tasteful with pictures as any unprofessional files will be deactivated. For those who do not have a resume you can fill out the questionnaire following your statistical data.
If you are NOT current, registration is only available for 3 months until January 30th. So if you need to renew you must do so within this time period to continue to show up on the data base. Any coaches that have done any of the Skydive University courses but have not completed the required criteria will be able to access the site for the trial period in which you should do your best to complete your requirements. Note that once you do complete your requirements, at any time, you will be activated once again.
Renewals /Benefits
Please update your personal profile.
You will remain listed until January 31st, 2007.
To renew:
Ø You must have passed the course and completed all aerial requirements, or
Ø You must be certified, Blue book sent in or still working on and within 2 years renewal period to be listed.
Ø A renewal annual fee of $35 will be required in the future but not at present.

Database map priority listings
All coaches with the highest and most ratings will show up first through to Level 1 on the data base. In other words Coach Course Directors and evaluators first, Level 2 Coaches and multiple rating holders (AIC, AFFI, etc.) next and then Coach 1.
Re-currency & Upgrading
Those of you wanting to upgrade your ratings you can by attending either AIC (Advanced Instructors Course) or the Level 2 for FS. SDU is offering a 25% discount to all Certified SDU coaches wanting to upgrade. Check the online calendar for upcoming courses. Certified applies to those coaches who completed their logbook and sent it in. To remain in the system all Instructors and Course Directors must have upgraded to USPA/SDU Level 1.

DISCOUNTED TUNNEL TIME
We have Tunnel time available for any coaches wanting to bring students to SkyVenture Orlando. We have discounted block time and is a great opportunity to inspire your students to improve and develop their flying skills. If you want to take advantage of this time for yourself this is a great opportunity to advance your flying skills whether you’re learning a new discipline or training with a team. If you are interested in learning to coach in the tunnel we will help you work on this as well. The time is available at a discounted rate for all Skydive University coaches. Contact Skydive University for details on bookings and discounted block prices. The booking must be made through Skydive University as well as payments made to Skydive University.

DeLand, FL, Aug 28, 2006 - Skydive University announces an alliance with Skydive Tech to support its new Human Flight Series (Human Flight Training Software) interactive skydiving training system for beginning (to be released this Fall) and intermediate skydivers (to be released on spring 2007).
